Prior to her consulting career, Sheila spent sixteen years at the former Bell Atlantic Corporation, where her management career spanned functional areas such as customer service, budgeting, Enhanced 911 data base implementation and Organization Development. Her demonstrated capacity to positively impact bottom line results in both technical and “soft skills” arenas greatly informed her philosophy and approach to leadership development.
Sheila has taught courses on leadership, teams, and group dynamics at Johns Hopkins University and served as adjunct faculty for both the Organization Development and Coaching Certificate Programs at Georgetown University. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and former president of the Chesapeake Bay Organization Development Network.
Sheila holds a B.A. in English from the University of Virginia, a M.S. in Telecommunications Policy from George Washington University, and a M.S. in Human Resource Development from American University. She is certified to administer Myers Briggs Typology, Benchmarks, and 360 By Design.
